Nigerian singer, David Adeleke has made it clear why he decided to help embattled dancehall songstress, Cynthia Morgan who opened up on the issues surrounding her life & career which ended up in a depression that almost took her life.
Recall that sometime back, Cynthia Morgan revealed that her former record label boss, Jude Okoye was the reason for her total career breakdown as she further added that he had been stealing most of her rights which includes her stage name.
Cynthia Morgan, whose plight appealed to her fellow celebrities & colleagues with a heart of Gold, had them make up their decision of lending out support to her ensuring she gets back on her feet & one of those who caught the fancy of the Internet, was Afropop popular singer, Davido.
According to the singer who wrote in a tweet offering to help Cynthia by giving her a verse on a new song he’s working, he said;
Tell Cynthia I got an anthem for her ….. I’ll record my verse now
However, the kind gesture in which the ‘Risky’ crooner had expressed publicly, pointed a lot of fingers against him whereby making some social media users go publicly accusing him as someone who chased clout.
Some even went to the extent of bringing back an old beef between the two singers further addressing that Cynthia Morgan had called Davido a ‘Fu*k Boy’ some years ago.
Recently, the father of three has openly come out to explain why he chose to help despite the insult he got from her.
Most important thing is that she has spoken and people are willing to help and she can be able to rewrite her steps and have another chance. That’s all that matters.
